Dr. Batash completed his undergraduate education at Columbia University and received his medical degree from NYU School of Medicine. As a board-certified gastroenterologist, he is currently affiliated with NYU Medical Center, Lenox Hill Hospital, and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.
Dr. Batash has a passion for teaching and hosts many other physicians at his endoscopy suite where they can observe him performing endoscopic weight loss procedures. He also enjoys proctoring gastroenterology fellows at Bellevue Hospital (NYU).
Dr. Batash has been practicing medicine in New York City for more than 30 years and has been featured as a medical expert by NBC News, ABC News, and USA Today. He lives and works in NYC with his wife, two sons, dog, african grey, bearded dragon & small turtle.
